I hate being sober. Like, HATE it. I’m always either stoned, or drunk, or blown out. Not on coke or anything. I just loving railing Vicodin, that’s all. And Perc, and Clono, and Oxy’s. Sometime’s I feel like I should check myself into rehab. But my life’s not all spiraling out of control or anything, so I guess I don’t really give a shit. I’m twenty....

Isn’t it amazing how the pain goes away as soon as the powder hits your nose? Your whole body goes numb and the problems seem to float away. Happy pills make the pain go away. I am comfortably numb. I can smile again. I can laugh and dance and love again. Sobriety doesn’t appeal to me anymore.

I prefer not to be sober because I’m just not ready to face reality yet. I much prefer my own hazy smoke-filled world where sunflowers grow. I’m finally happy. I’m finally home.
